Introduction: Currently, I am working as a visiting research scientist at the High Performance Computer Lab (HPCL) of the George Washington University. Part of my research work is done in the NSF Center for High-Performance Reconfigurable Computing (CHREC).
Research Interests: My general research interests are in High-Performance computing. This involves all kinds of alternative computing platforms which are able to execute applications in parallel. Special focus is on reconfigurable computing in general since this research area has already proven that it is applicable to lots of current computing problems. Beside these platforms I look as well into new emerging concepts like the cell processor from Intel or GPU processors from NVidia or AMD.
